How to Order Your Prescription Using the NHS App
Download & Sign In
Download the NHS App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or access it through your web browser. Log in securely using your NHS account.
Nominate Us
In the Prescriptions → Your nominated pharmacy section, select Churchills Pharmacy so prescriptions are sent to us electronically (EPS).
Request Repeat Prescriptions
Choose your medicines and submit your repeat prescription request through the NHS app. Once your GP approves it, your prescription will be sent directly to us and we will notify when it is ready.

Text Alerts & Delivery
We’ll send you a text message (SMS) when your prescription is ready to collect from Churchills Pharmacy. For Home Delivery, let us know in advance.

Other Ways to Order (If You Can’t Use the NHS App)
GP Online Prescription Request
Most GP surgeries offer online repeat prescription ordering through their website or patient portal. Make sure your nominated pharmacy is set to Churchills Pharmacy so your prescription is sent to us electronically via the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS).
In Person or By Phone
You can also visit Churchills Pharmacy or call our team to discuss your prescription needs. We can help you set up the NHS App, EPS nomination, and delivery preferences if required.
FAQs
How long will my prescription take?
Once your GP approves your request, it is sent to Churchills Pharmacy electronically. We’ll notify you by SMS when it’s ready to collect. Please allow a few working days, especially during busy periods.
Why use the NHS App to order prescriptions?
Using the NHS App to request repeat prescriptions is quick and convenient. Your request goes directly to your GP for approval and, once authorised, the prescription is sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy, Churchills Pharmacy.
Can I track my prescription?
Yes. Within the NHS App, you can view the status of your prescription requests. We’ll also send you a text message notification when your medication is ready for collection or delivery.
What happens if a medicine is out of stock?
If a medicine is temporarily unavailable, our pharmacy team may contact your GP to discuss suitable alternatives or inform you when the medication is expected to be back in stock.
Do I need a paper prescription?
No. With the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), your prescription is sent directly to Churchills Pharmacy electronically once you nominate us as your preferred pharmacy.
