Churchills Pharmacy offers the NHS MenB vaccination service for eligible patients as part of the national NHS vaccination programme.
An emergency supply cannot be provided for every medicine or in every situation. Certain medicines are subject to additional legal restrictions, and the pharmacist must be satisfied that an emergency supply is appropriate.
For this reason, an emergency supply is not guaranteed.
Our pharmacist will assess your situation to determine whether there is an immediate need for the medicine and whether you have previously been prescribed it. An emergency supply is subject to a professional and legal assessment and cannot always be provided.
You may need an emergency supply if:
✓ You have completely run out of a regular prescription medicine
✓ You need your medicine urgently
✓ Your GP surgery is closed or you cannot obtain a prescription immediately
✓ You have previously been prescribed the medicine
✓ You are unable to access your usual prescription in time
Our pharmacist will assess your request before deciding whether an emergency supply can be made.
If you regularly take repeat prescription medicines, try to request your next prescription in good time.
