A convenient and secure way for your GP to send your NHS prescriptions electronically to Churchills Pharmacy, so you can collect your medicines without needing a paper prescription.
Electronic Prescription Service
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service that allows your GP or other authorised prescriber to send your prescription electronically to a pharmacy of your choice.
By nominating Churchills Pharmacy, your prescriptions can be sent securely to us electronically, making it easier and more convenient to collect your medicines.
You don’t need to collect a paper prescription from your GP. Once your prescription has been sent to Churchills Pharmacy, our pharmacy team can process it and prepare your medicines for collection.
Your prescription information is only available to authorised organisations and people involved in prescribing, dispensing and NHS prescription processing.
How Do I Nominate Churchills Pharmacy?
✓ Open the NHS App and sign in.
✓ Tap Prescriptions on the menu.
✓ Select Your chosen pharmacy (or Choose a pharmacy if blank).
✓ Select Change or Choose your pharmacy.
✓ Enter a postcode – HA3 0HD or name – CHURCHILLS Pharmacy to search.
✓ Tap your preferred pharmacy from the list.
✓ Confirm your selection
The Electronic Prescription Service does not change who can access your prescription information compared with the existing prescription process; it provides a secure electronic way of transferring the information.
